I remember my Dad telling me, the Parisons came to St. Louis, some immigrants stayed in the US & some returned to Hungary.  I also remember him talking about a Parison family owning a bakery in St. Louis and my dad working for his uncles there.  Franz seems to be one of the names associated with the bakery, perhaps it was the younger Janos.  My dad wasn't born until 1918.  I wish he were here now, he could straighten it all out. I have no real written records for the Parison or Petischan part of my family except for my grandmother Elizabeth Parison.

I remember coming across the entry for Nick Parison joining his cousin Anton Petischen in New York in my past searches and it sparked my interest, but I never went far enough with it to make a connection.  Sometimes I browse through the online version of Das Treffil Buch and try to pull out names/relations that seem to fit but....I can't read German so it's tough going!  I have been in contact with Cornelia Kassem - she has been kind enough to keep me updated on the availability of the Triebswetter FB.
