Jim was a nice man who loved his family. Jim learned just 3 months ago he had pancreatic cancer, the fourth leading cause of cancer death in the United States. This year approximately 32,000 Americans will die from cancer of the pancreas. The disease is not only common, it is also extremely difficult to treat. For these and other reasons, cancer of the pancreas has been called "the challenge of the twenty-first century." Viewing will be Oct 12th, 5-9pm. Funeral Services will be held at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Thursday at 2pm and the burial will be at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. October 1, 2005 Please pray for Jim Allen, Anne's husband. He has been diagnosed with cancer and needs our prayers. Pray God give strength and peace to Anne, their daughters Kim and Cherrie & her family as they are right by his side. We love you all.... Looks like we may be able to have it at the same place as last time. Emelia and John will be checking on those dates for availability. As an alternative, we could consider Red Top Mountain (above Marietta). My class reunion was there, we had a wonderful time, we rented a building with a kitchen, a screened porch and there is plenty of space for children to play. June 16, 2005 Clarence Donaldson died. We will all miss him. Our sympathies go out to his children Steve, Linda, Lou, Tammy, Debra, Diane and Delane. We are all very grateful to Ruth, his loving companion who cared for him and loved him until the end.
