Der Seelenstand der
Pfarrer gemeinde Mercydorf in Jahre 1794. (1774 Mercydorf inhabitant list discovered in the Budapest
archives by Banat Researcher Georg Reiser.)
Die Mercydorfer Hausbesitzer im Jahre 1774 / The homeowners
of Mercydorf in the Year 1774 ...und die Reichseinwanderer, die zehn Jahre später in die
Ortscraft [ORTSCHAFT] kamen. / ...and the Imperial Colonists who came into the village 10
years later.
The soul conditions of the Priest municipality of
Mercydorf to the year of 1794. In the copies of the Mercydorfer church registers, which
are kept at the Institutes for Foreign Country
Relations, in Stuttgart, also includes a list of the
owners of house and of their families from the year
1794. The list included in this book has been somewhat
shortened/changed. Note:
I would take this to mean that there were TWO SEPARATE LISTS
from which the writer is working... probably representing TWO SEPARATE GROUPS OF COLONISTS. i.e.
two separate "Einsiedlungs." 1774 and 1784 ... Dan Drew [assisted with translation]
