S, E. Goddard, Member Of Typographical Union, Dead
Funeral services for S. E. Goddard. C9, 317M; 1st-ave. E.f who died as the result of an accident early Thursday morning, will be Saturday at 2 p. m., to the Rohn Funeral Home. Rev. E, D. Wells, pastor of Trinity AL E. church, will be in charge. Interment will bo made In the Dunkard cemetery rear Toddville. Mr. Goddard was a member of Typographical union No. 192 but had been unemployed for (he past 18 months.  He was struck by an automobile at 1st Ave and 13th-st. E, driven by Michael Schick, 428 A-ave. NE, who reported to the police that Goddard apparently fell against the side of the car as he was crossing the street.
Surviving relatives are a wife, two sons and a daughter and seven stepchildren.

MT. VERNON-Dec. 27 is the date announced by Mr. and Mrs. Michael Schick or the marriage of their daughter, Barbara Eva, to Sylvester Drahos. son of Mr. Mary Dempsey and Mrs. Albin Drahos. The vows will be spoken in St. John's Catholic church in Lisbon. Miss Schick is employed in the admissions office of Cornell college. Mr. Drahos attended Iowa State college and is employed by the Link-Belt Speeder Co.
