Obituary
Frank L. Teringer, age 92, of Munster, IN, formerly of
South Holland, IL, passed away on Friday, July 4 2003.
He is survived by his daughters, Mary Ann (late Frank)
Frederick of Schererville, IN and Fran (David)
Hattendorf of Prescott, AZ; grandson, Frank (Kathleen)
Lorenzen of Dyer, IN; great-granddaughters, Janna and
Karen Lorenzen; caring friend, Victor Georgas of
Schererville, IN; and many nieces and nephews. He was
preceded in death by his loving wife, Mildred.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2003 at
9:30 AM from the Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 8415 Calumet
Ave., Munster, IN, with a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian
Burial at St. Thomas More Church, Munster, with Fr. John
Strebig officiating. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery,
Calumet City, IL. Visitation at the funeral home will be
on Monday, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Mr. Teringer was a retired electrical operating engineer
from Inland Steel with over 40 years of service and was
member of the Inland Steel 25-Year Club. Member of KSKJ
Slovenian St. George Church, Chicago, IL and a former
member of Holy Ghost Church, South Holland, IL. Frank
was an avid athlete throughout his life. Memorial
contributions to Alzheimer Research or Hospice of the
Calumet Area in his memory would be appreciated. |
