It only took me 11 months to get it done. I started it in a miniature class last June. I have never done anything like this before -- from the ground up. I've done a general store from a kit. I've never worked so hard in a class....5 days straight from 7:30 to 5:30-6p.m. Eating a bite right at the project table. It's wired for electricity and the fireplace and candles flicker like the real thing. The picture above the mantel is my daughter at five years old. The picture of the cat stalking a mole in the garden is an overview from above. And though it's impossible to see in the picture, there's a fairy coming out of the door of the critter cottage.
