Christina Ingrisch

My Great Grandfather Martin Ingrisch had a sister Christina who I was determined to locate her descendants.  She was born 3.04.1871, in Mercifalva, Hungary;  baptized 4.04.1871, as KRISZTINA, daughter of JAKAB INGRISCH, a peasant farmer & THEREZIA FRIEDL, Mercyfalva in House # 175,  PNCC/Godparents were ANTAL VIENER (DIENER?) & his wife KRISZTINA VIENER. Christina died in Pancota, Romania on 26 Feb 1951. This is all the information I had on her to begin the search.

Finding the Unterweger's

I first searched the households for 1931-32 in the Mercydorf book.  I scanned the list and notated all the women who were born Ingrisch, and I found a match: Unterweger,... Ingrisch Christina, a Midwife, lived at house # 8 and owned 4.4 joch of land.  No given name for the husband was recorded.
See reference: 1931-32 households of Mercydorf there is listed in house # 8
